This year our theme is " Find Your Voice." With a nod to Stephen Covey's Eighth Habit, we are searching for our voices through trying new things, looking for new hobbies, talents and passions, sharing them with others, and ultimately learning about and serving our community. With this in mind, we have a fun packed summer planned that will culminate with a community talent show and touch the truck event (attendees can check out some working vehicles up close and talk to their operators to celebrate our community heroes). Participants will also be given the opportunity to donate to our local food pantry to celebrate weekly challenge achievements.
Consistent reading through the summer is the single best way to set your student up for success for the 2023-2024 school year.
Beginning with the end in mind, please consider which skills or craft activities your child can display or show at our Community Talent Show, Saturday August 5 and consider what you might share.

2:00 Wednesday, July 19 - My Voice Through Art
This week we will be working with clay. oil pastels! (Due to space constraints we will have the clay activity another time).Students will be able to take home their creation they creat on a canvas baord!!. (Please note if student have signed up for our Nathan and Clay Series, they may arrive at 2:00 and head directly to his class if desired.

Today is time to collect your prizes and time for our drawing! Head on over to celebrate and finalize plans for the talent show. We will also talk about what we have done for the local food pantry.
