For Teens

After School Programming

The library has an after school program held during Early-Out Wednesdays at 2:30 - 3:30pm
Each week is something new, whether it's a craft activity, STEM project, or even a movie, feel free to come on in and relax after classes.

Woodward's Offline Book Club

Too much to do? This book club is a low‑pressure reading group for teens who want to explore new stories without the stress of assigned reading. Each month focuses on a different genre; fantasy, romance, horror, graphic novels, sci‑fi, mystery, and more. Teens can read any book they want within that genre share what they loved (or didn’t!) on our review note cards at the front desk. Each completed note card has a chance to win a Target gift card drawn at the end of the month!

  • September's Genre: Fantasy

H.Y.P.E Club (Thursdays from 4:00pm-5:00pm)
The HYPE Club (Hobbies, Youth Pop-Culture & Entertainment) is The Woodward Library's hangout spot for teens and tweens who love unique hobbies, graphic novels, gaming, anime, or all things pop culture. It's a space to be creative, social, and yourself! Come on by on alternating Thursdays for a new HYPE Club meet up!

  • NEXT MEETUP - September 15th: We're learning the Pokemon Trading Card Game! Participants even get your own mystery pack to open!
